The time is getting close for
yet another Fire and Ice online gaming networking event, and Lyceum Media is
promising it to be one of the best ever. Thought to be one of the largest social
events for online gaming companies, affiliates, marketing partners and online
casino operators, Fire and Ice has always managed to garner a large turnout. And
come Wednesday, January 23rd, the Hippodrome in the heart of London's West End,
will open its doors to an optimistic crowd.
Lyceum Media, which is a news
publishing firm for the online gambling industry at large, is not only an expert
on inner workings of the industry, they really know how to throw a party. They
have come to be known as a supreme host for social networking events, and the
Fire and Ice event is certainly the most popular of the bunch. Now in its
seventh year, Fire and Ice is held in conjunction with the International Casino
Exhibition (ICE)
Organized by the recently merged
ATE and River City Publishing (Clarion Group), ICE is what draws business execs
from both the terrestrial and online gambling sectors. Seeing a need to loosen
things up and add an element of sociality to the business affairs, Lyceum
stepped in and organized Fire and Ice, which became an instant hit. Perhaps it's
been all the free alcohol. Perhaps it's the Playboy Bunnies and Go-Go dancers.
The bottom line is that Fire and Ice has been successful at bringing together
gaming execs and fostering talks and business deals.
Last years sponsors included
online casinos software developers, Cryptologic and NextGen Gaming. This year's
platinum sponsor is none other than the popular online gambling portal,
Gambling.com. Also scheduled to be in attendance is the party girl Tila Tequila.
At the moment, the event is being labeled a prestigious VIP party, so it is
unclear just who will be invited to attend. Apparently, invitations to the party
can be picked up at the Gambling.com or iGaming Business booths on the
International Casino Exhibition floor.
