International Casino Exhibition Breeds Online
Gambling Conventions

If you couldn't tell already, January is a big month for online gambling
activities of the extra-curricular kind. Specifically, I am referring to
conventions and expos in London, England, where thanks to the UK Gambling Act,
has become somewhat of a land-based center for the online gambling industry.
The largest and most attended of the month (not to mention all year) is the
International Casino Exhibition. Commonly referred to as ICE, the International
Casino Exhibition draws thousands of land-based and online gambling executives
and industry folk from around the world. As always, it is taking place in London
this year and will fall on January 22 -24, 2008.
There are several supplemental conventions to ICE also, all of which take
place around the same time in London. This is a true testament to the sheer size
of ICE, which has made great strides in helping to unite the land-based and
online gambling sectors. Covering everything from regulation to technology,
these expos will offer more than enough to get the hungriest of expo-heads
through the rest of the year.
