Microgaming Online Casinos Get Another Addition to the Club
by Lance Kessel Onlinecasinosworld.com

The all-in-one online gambling site, Canbet, appears to be falling in love with Microgaming Technologies. After joining Microgaming's online poker network and experiencing the innovative software platform, Canbet decided to join Microgaming's large network of online casinos. Formerly offering a selection of online casino games on the Real Time Gaming platform, Canbet recently completed the switchover to the Microgaming Viper platform as part of a plan to expand their overall betting services.

It's not to say that RTG's platform is inferior to Microgaming's, however, the fact remains that Microgaming offers a larger selection of games and betting features. Now with over 350 casino games, Microgaming has the largest portfolio of any software developer in business today. Many of these games are very popular with players, including the Hitman video slot (based on the video game) and the progressive millionaire jackpot slot, Mega Moolah.

Canbet's Managing Director, Mark Read, said in a press release that the company was so impressed with Microgaming's back-end and user-end features on the poker software platform, they decided to give the online casino games a go as well. With plans to expand into the increasingly fertile gaming market of China, and continued expansion in Canada and Europe, the Australian-owned betting site is making sure they have one of the best gaming offerings available.

As for Microgaming, they were just as pleased to secure a deeper partnership with Canbet. The total number of online casinos licensing Microgaming's innovative software platform now exceeds 120. And with the online poker network going very strong thanks to powerhouses poker sites like Doyle's, Captain Cooks and 32Red, there is no question Microgaming is meeting its own expansion plans. Canbet's licensing shortly follows a deal with Mamamia Gaming, who has become the first Microgaming licensee in Chile, not to mention the largest online poker room in South America.
