Sportingbet Joins GameAccount's Popular Online Backgammon Network
by Tommy Davis Onlinecasinosworld.com

November 20, 2007

One of the UK's most popular online gambling companies, Sportingbet, is moving its online Backgammon offering over to the GameAccount network, which supplies a dedicated online backgammon platform for several well known online casinos, poker rooms and sportsbooks, including Will Hill, Gala Coral Eurobet, Paddy Power, Blue Square, Victor Chandler, SkyBet and BoyleSports. Sportingbet now becomes the latest high profile online gambling site to join the GameAccount network, thus further establishing GameAccount as the premier provider of online backgammon tournaments.

With more pooled activity than ever, GameAccount's liquidity rivals most online casinos. Cash games are particularly strong at GameAccount, which Sportingbet's Director of Products, Paul Roberts, believes is exactly what their online backgammon playing member base is looking for. Compared to their former options, Sportingbet members will now have access to more tournament information and registration details, especially considering GameAccount recently finished a software upgrade of their own.

By combining all of their Backgammon players under one virtual roof, Sportingbet is meeting its recent mission to consolidate its supplier base into a number of select strategic partners, thus giving their customers a distinct service with a more solid through-line. Most online casino and skill gamers will agree that going with GameAccount was a smart move in this regard.

COO of GameAccount, Dermot Smurfit, said they are very pleased to join forces with Sportingbet. Drawing attention to GameAccount's capability to cater its online betting platform to both small-stakes recreational gamblers and seasoned high-rollers will be a major plus for Sportingbet's clientele, not to mention GameAccount's network wide tournament structure, which naturally breeds larger and better tournaments.
